1st thing to try is your keyboard settings, open up control panel>keyboard properties try reducing the repeat delay and or repeat rate speeds to see if that eliminates the issue.
The actuators on a mechanical keyboard behave differently to cheaper membrane keyboards and a fast repeat rate might just make the PC think that you are holding the key longer deliberately for a repeated input.

If it onlt happens to that key, then I'd say it could be a defective keyboard. Most likely you're still getting used to the new feel of the keyboard. If you can, try lifting the finger off the key as soon as you feel it click. Or, deliberately bottom out and let it come back up. Playing at the clicky area could allow for quick double taps in games, but not good for typing.
